Working at New Vision Psychology

We help you help others

We help you, so you can help others

Established in 2009, New Vision Psychology now has over 30 practitioners across our five clinics in Sydney CBD, Castle Hill, Burwood, Chatswood and Hurstville. We are a commissioned partner with the Sydney North Primary Health Network (SNPHN), providing a full range of psychology services for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.

With decades of industry experience, we have developed a deep understanding about the challenges of running a private practice, along with the needs of psychologists and clients. Our mission is to translate this into practical tools and efficient processes to help other psychologists do what they do best. Our directors are experienced clinicians who support our practitioners full-time. We’re a friendly and down-to-earth bunch, and you’ll be joining a highly supportive and nurturing workplace.

Our aim is to offer our clients and practitioners the highest level of care and support. We actively cultivate a highly effective team and optimised systems, in order to help our psychologists sustain their passion for helping others.

We use our experience and expertise to help our practitioners grow and maintain a sustainable practice. We are driven by genuine care and a deep motivation to help our practitioners provide the best experience for our clients.

Exceptional level of clinical and professional support

Our directors, Danni and Johan, are experienced clinicians dedicated to managing and supervising our practitioners full-time. They provide same-day clinical support, and are accessible and available to help with any issues that may arise – from ethical or clinical dilemmas, to complex problems, client feedback and complaints, and conflicts of interest. You won’t have to book and wait for external supervision. Our directors are always here to support, listen, collaborate, problem-solve and debrief together with you.

Highly trained and effective clinical intake team

You will be working with a highly skilled clinical intake team providing full-time admin support. As the centre of communication between clients and practitioners, they undergo rigorous training and receive ongoing guidance to uphold professional and ethical guidelines as well as highest levels of service. They are backed by an efficient triage system, and work closely with our referrers, practitioners and directors to provide a cohesive experience for everyone. They are responsible and efficient, with excellent communication skills, great attention to detail and robust knowledge about our clinical services. Each member of our team uses their experience, strength and skills to the best of their abilities to support our clients and practitioners. As a result, they improve practitioner-patient communications, service quality, client satisfaction and continuity of care.

Seamless operations and proven systems

With effectiveness at the core of our practice, we have tailored and implemented IT and CRM systems to ensure seamless administrative processes – including clinical intakes, bookings, cancellations, payments and rebates. Our onboarding process is smooth and cohesive, and you will be fully oriented and trained to use our digital systems. Our accurate therapist matching service means that you’ll always work with your chosen clientele. We also have a marketing team providing ongoing branding and content to boost your professional presence. We take care of all aspects of running a private practice, so you can do what you do best and have a fulfilling and sustainable career.

Autonomy and flexibility

You will have full control over your own hours and caseload. As we only work with reliable and consistent practitioners who provide a high level of client care, we are able to offer a high degree of autonomy and flexibility. Simply choose your preferred hours, clients, presentations and service areas – we have the capacity and resources to cater to your needs and preferences. Whether your priority is to prevent burnout or expand your caseload, our flexible model will serve your needs and goals.

Professional development and career growth

We will help you achieve your professional goals – whether you want to work exclusively with specific types of presentations, or see new and different clients to broaden your skill set. You’ll be able to organise in-house clinical supervision with a board-approved supervisor and have access to structured peer supervision to develop your professional skills and knowledge. We’ll also provide ongoing client feedback and an annual contribution towards your CPD to help you hone your practice.

Strong reputation and retention

Due to the exceptional quality of our services, we’re the preferred practice for a huge network of GPs, paediatricians, psychiatrists and specialists. We have a strong track record of retaining clients as well as practitioners. Most of our practitioners have been with us for a long time and many of our contractors have transitioned to full-time contracting. This is a testament to our culture of care and effectiveness. We’re in this for the long-haul – that’s why we invest greatly in your success and satisfaction.
