Professional Experience

Michal is a warm and dedicated therapist who is passionate about supporting her clients throughout all stages of life. She has more than nine years of experience in working with children, adolescents, adults and families with various mental health presentations such as anxiety, depression and mood disorders.

Before commencing her practice at New Vision Psychology, Michal worked with disadvantaged youth and families at an NGO in the eastern suburbs of Sydney. She provided therapy, school counselling and facilitated parenting courses and school programs.

Michal believes that therapy is an opportunity to gain a better understanding of one’s self in a professionally supportive environment. She sees it as a journey to relieve mental pain and improve wellbeing and personal growth.

In her therapeutic work, Michal likes to draw on eclectic therapy models such as Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Systemic Family Therapy, tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.

Michal is fluent in English and Hebrew. She is also fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA and a Workcover (SIRA) registered psychologist.
