“Reaching out for support can feel like the hardest step… and it takes real courage to do so. It’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or even nervous about starting therapy. Change doesn’t have to happen all at once; small, consistent steps can lead to meaningful progress. Together, we can explore the ‘why’ behind your patterns and develop practical strategies to support lasting change. I’m here to help you reconnect with your strengths, gain clarity, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with your values.”

Professional Experience
Lini is a warm, client-centred psychologist who works with individuals, couples, parents, and families from diverse backgrounds. She is particularly experienced in working with adults experiencing anxiety, social anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, adjustment concerns, and workplace bullying and harassment. She also provides interventions for those who are navigating challenges such as trauma, emotional regulation, grief and loss, body image issues, health-related concerns, and work-related issues.
Lini brings experience from occupational rehabilitation settings, where she helped clients develop coping strategies, strengthen emotional regulation skills, and work towards meaningful goals. She also currently supports individuals with career development, work transitions, performance coaching, and leadership development.
As a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), she is committed to ongoing learning and staying current with evidence-based practices. In addition to her clinical work, she has volunteered in aged care, which strengthened her understanding of life transitions, loneliness, and meaningful social connections.
Lini’s therapeutic style is empathetic, non-judgemental, and grounded in genuine curiosity about each person’s unique story. In her sessions, she focuses on building rapport and creating a safe and supportive space. She works collaboratively with her clients to clarify what matters most and develop practical strategies for change. Her aim is not only to reduce distress, but to help clients build resilience and regain a sense of control.
Lini believes that people are inherently resilient and capable of growth, even during challenging times. She views therapy as a collaborative and empowering process — not about “fixing”, but about helping individuals reconnect with their strengths, gain clarity, and move toward a life aligned with their values.
Lini draws from a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and psychodynamic principles. She takes a trauma-informed approach, gently exploring how past experiences may be shaping current thoughts, emotions, and relationships, while helping clients develop healthier and more adaptive ways of coping. She tailors her interventions to each individual’s needs and goals, and offers sessions in English and Hindi.
At the heart of Lini’s work is a deep appreciation for the strength people carry, even when they feel overwhelmed or stuck. She finds it profoundly rewarding to witness clients begin to see themselves with greater compassion, awareness, and hope, and to support them as they start feeling more in control of their lives and relationships. Lini is continually inspired by the capacity for change she sees in her clients, and is passionate about helping them rediscover their ability to cope, grow, and move forward in authentic and sustainable ways.
When she isn’t working, Lini enjoys gardening, baking, and listening to The Feeling Good Podcast by David D. Burns.
