Professional Experience

Quinn is a trilingual psychologist who works with individuals and families across the lifespan— from toddlers, to children, adolescent, adults, and older adults.

Her expertise lies in neurodiversity, ADHD, anxiety, stress management, emotional regulation, life transitions, family dynamics and interpersonal relationships. She treats a wide range of presentations, including trauma, psychosis, domestic violence, anger, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, addictions, personality disorders, grief and loss, self-harm, work-related issues, health-related issues, and sleep disorders.

Quinn is particularly interested in helping young people and adults build resilience and achieve personal goals, as well as guiding families with communication and problem-solving. She offers her clients practical, actionable strategies and tools to manage life and relationships.

Taking a client-centred approach, Quinn’s therapeutic style is collaborative, practical, and empathetic. She works alongside clients to clarify their goals and develop strategies that are both meaningful and effective. Quinn balances actionable tools with understanding and validation, drawing on a strength-based framework that builds on each client’s existing skills and resilience. She is also trauma-informed, ensuring safety, trust, and empowerment in the therapeutic process.

She creates a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can feel heard, supported, and inspired to grow. She empowers people to understand themselves deeply, manage challenges with confidence, and create meaningful change. Her goal is to help people build lasting resilience and self-trust, even through life’s most difficult moments.

Throughout her career, Quinn has learned that every individual possesses unique strengths and coping mechanisms, even if they may not be immediately obvious. She finds it deeply rewarding to see clients make small but significant changes that increase their confidence and autonomy in their daily lives.

In her practice, Quinn takes an integrative and flexible approach, combining multiple evidence-based therapies tailored to each client. This includes Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) for challenging unhelpful thinking patterns and developing practical problem-solving skills; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients accept difficult emotions and take actions aligned with their values; mindfulness-based approaches to enhance grounding, self-awareness, and emotional balance; and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to focus on practical steps, strengths, and achievable goals.

One of her favourite quotes is, “Progress, not perfection.” Quinn believes that change doesn’t have to be perfect, and it’s helpful to focus on practical strategies that fit one’s life. She reminds clients that progress isn’t always linear — setbacks are part of healing, not signs of failure.

When she isn’t working, Quinn enjoys nature walks, creative hobbies, reading about positive psychology and mindfulness, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
