Our therapists are registered with the Australian Health Practioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and uphold the highest level of professionalism and ethics in everything they do.

3. A Multicultural Team

We are proud to be one of Sydney’s most inclusive and multicultural psychology practices, providing counselling in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Spanish, Greek, Portuguese, Bengali, Hindi, Afrikaans, Norwegian and Croatian. Taking a multicultural approach allows us to provide culturally sensitive and inclusive therapy that reflects the incredible diversity in Sydney.

4. Convenient Counselling

Our Chatswood practice is conveniently located in Sydney’s North Shore, easily accessible by major roads and just a four-minute walk from Chatswood train station. We strive to provide welcoming and safe counselling that is convenient for the community in North Sydney.

We also offer telehealth services (phone or video) to anyone across Australia to provide even further convenience and flexibility. We want to make it as simple as possible for anyone who needs help to get the support they need. Even if you do not have the time to make it into our clinic (or if you feel uncomfortable about an in-person consultation), we still want to help you access professional mental health services.

We understand that it can be difficult to find the right therapist for you. So, we recommend that you explore our therapists’ profiles to see if a member of our team stands out to you, or if there is someone in particular you would like to work with. You can also ring us at 1300 001 778 and our clinical intake team will help to match you with the right therapist for your specific needs.

We have clinical and registered psychologists skilled in multiple disciplines, experienced in treating a wide range of issues, and fluent in multiple languages including English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Spanish, Greek, Portuguese, Bengali, Hindi, Afrikaans, Norwegian and Croatian – so we’re confident we have an experienced therapist that’s right for you.

All our Chatswood psychologists are registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, with many of our therapists’ members of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). We provide psychology services across various concerns – including depression, anxiety disorder, children’s psychology, and anger management. Moreover, our relationship counselling team is here to help you and your partner with communication problems, sexual issues, relationship issues, couples therapy, marriage counselling and specialist sex therapy advice.

It is crucial that you feel comfortable with your psychologist – so it is 100% okay to change your therapist if you feel that it is not working. We are always here to listen to your concerns. We encourage you to provide us with feedback as soon as possible if you do not feel your psychologist understands your situation, or if you think they cannot help you.

To book an appointment at New Vision Psychology Chatswood, or to speak to a member of our team about a previous or upcoming session – please call us on 1300 001 778.

No – you do not need a referral to see a child psychologist. However, if your child has a diagnosable mental health condition, they may be eligible for a Medicare rebate with a GP Mental Health Care Plan.

From Monday to Friday – the first appointment available in the morning is at 8am, and our last appointment in the evening is at 8pm. We are open on Saturdays between 9am and 6pm, and we are closed on Sundays. Appointment times will depend on each practitioner’s availability, so we recommend browsing our therapists’ profiles above or contacting our team at 1300 001 778. Reception is available on Mondays to Fridays between 8:30am and 5:30pm.

At New Vision Psychology, we prioritise our clients and practitioners’ health and safety. We take all recommended precautions to ensure that our clinics and sessions are COVID-safe. You are welcome to speak to us about any specific questions or concerns.
