Professional Experience

Dr Pauline Hall has more than 10 years’ experience in couples therapy and treating individuals with depression, anxiety, schizophrenia and work-related stress. She also provides career coaching for adults and adolescents.

While Pauline acknowledges the Western origins of modern psychological theories, her passion lies in exploring and practising Asian therapeutic modalities. She is aiming to develop a psychotherapy orientation specifically for the Asian population.

In her clinical practice, Pauline adopts experiential and mindfulness-based therapeutic models. She helps her clients understand their conditions and behaviours by exploring how their emotions arise. She guides them in letting go of unhelpful patterns and discovering their inner selves.

Pauline believes each client is a living story. She works to enter their story and connect them with their present moment, enabling them to realise their existing reality. She teaches her clients the power of presence, which stem from their innate abilities.

When she isn’t working, Pauline spends her time meditating, listening to music, roasting coffee, reading books and watching TV.
